- Enter each traveler's details exactly as they appear on their ID.
- Pay promptly, because the system gives you a limited time.
- Save your ticket and bring the same ID on the day of your visit.
Which circuit to choose
- Circuit 1: covers upper routes and options like Machu Picchu Mountain.
- Circuit 2: is the classic route and usually sells out first.
- Circuit 3: covers the lower section and includes the Huayna Picchu option.
How far ahead should you book?
For high season, June to August, it's best to book several months ahead. Huayna Picchu usually sells out first. At other times of year, it's still best to book as early as you can.
Can you buy in person?
Unofficial sources report limited in-person sales in Aguas Calientes. Don't build your trip around them.
Avoid resellers
Buy on the official website, and check the site carefully before paying. Many sites with similar names aren't run by the Ministry of Culture.
